Nest Boxes.

All our nest boxes are made using eiher 12mm ply or 18mm ply (used for the larger more destructive parrots), except for the Budgie box they all include a inspection door, internal climbing structure, and a removable lid. They are not nailed or stapled together instead we make them to last by using a exterior grade PVA glue and then screw them together to ensure longevity. All our boxes come in 4 main sizes:

Small - suitable for birds such as Budgies and Lovebirds

Medium - suitable for birds such as Cockatiels, Conures and Lorikeets

Large - suitable for birds such as Indian Ringnecks, Princess Parrots and Alexanderines

Extra Large - suitable for birds such as Galahs, Corellas, Cockatoos and King Parrots

Straight (Standard) Nest boxes

As the name suggests they are straight nest boxes and probably the most commonly used nest box in aviculture.

There are also new designs of the standard box coming available such as the compartment box which consists of 2 inner chambers ect for birds such as the Kakariki, Lineolated Parrakeet, and Lovebirds.

Z shaped nest boxes

The Z shaped nest is fast gaining popularity as it minimises the chance of crushed or stood on eggs and or chicks in the nest, it is ideally suited to parrots with a large tail such as Indian Ringnecks, Alexanderines, Princess Parrots but not imited to these we use this style for our Rainbow Lorikeets with great success.
